FAQ
What vaccination will I need before my trip to China?
If you plan on traveling to China, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends to get vaccinated for the following vaccine-preventable diseases: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Rabies, and Japanese Encephalitis. The rabies vaccine is recommended for travelers spending a substantial amount of time outdoors, especially in rural areas performing activities, such as biking, camping, or hiking. Occupations that have an increased risk of contracting rabies, like veterinarians, should get the vaccine. The Japanese Encephalitis vaccine is recommended to travelers visiting rural farming areas. A consultation with our doctor at the Travel Clinic NYC, will provide you with better insight as to what travel vaccination you will need to protect your health.
