How long prior to departure should traveler get vaccinated?

Ideally travel vaccines should be administered 4-6 weeks prior. Shorter time spans are acceptable.

 

Are medical insurances covering the office visit and vaccinations?

Most insurance policies do not cover travel vaccinations. However we provide you with a detailed super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement to you.

How far in advance the traveler should schedule an appointment?

Our travel clinic offers same or next day appointment.

 

What should be done to make an appointment?

What is required at the time of the appointment?

History of vaccinations and current medications are needed at the time of appointment. Our travel doctor will review them and make necessary recommendations.

 

Will the documentation for the vaccines traveler receives be provided?

Our vaccination clinic provides you with an International Certificate of Vaccination for travel or a state approved record of vaccination. Our travel clinic is a certified Yellow fever clinic.

 

Do you provide all necessary vaccines?

Are necessary prescriptions provided?

Yes. Prescriptions for the prevention of malaria and other diseases provided by our certified travel doctor if deemed necessary
